He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Starbird and Jacqueline Ann Dustin Melvin; and his brother Geoff Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Cher Melvin of Worth County; his children, Anna Mei Melvin of Worth County and Daniel Thomas Melvin of Worth County; and his siblings, Al Melvin (Nancy), Steven Melvin (Rosanna), Charles A. Melvin (Nancy), Laura Jutras, Linda Welch and Lois Anderton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
