He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Paul Hunnell, Sr. and Stella K Lowe Hunnell; and his siblings, Nellie Loretta Hunnell Crigger, Ernest Paul Hunnell, Jr. and Ray Michael Hunnell.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bailey Hunnell; his children, Joseph Matthew Hunnell and Barbara East (Greg) of Princeton, WV; his siblings, Patricia Surber (Tom) of King, NC, Phylis Martin of Princeton, WV and Donnie Hunnell of Ashland, WV; and his grandchildren, Trystann Traynor, James Horvath and Gavin Traynor.
