It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Short of Wolf Summit, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bailey Stump and Beulah Pauline Stump (Stewart); her husband Warner C. "Punk" Short; her daughter Shari Loughery; and her grandson Cory Short.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Short (Lisa) of Wolf Summit; her son-in-law Frank Loughery; her grandchildren, Eric McCandless and Kyle McCandless (Alayna Wescloski) of Shinnston; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Katie McCandless and Marley Kay Short; and her sister Libby Palmer of Flemington.
