It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Letha Myrtle Bruce of Winifrede, West Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sherman Thomas "Shag" Bruce; her son Gary W. Bruce; her parents, Joseph Johnson and Priscilla Perdue Johnson; and her siblings, Robert, Franklin, Harry Johnson and Martha Jenkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wilma Ashley of Comfort, Joy M. Wright (Robert) of Nellis, Karen S. DeLong of New Cumberland, WV and Diana K. Calatan of Winifrede; and her sister Johanna Russell of Laurel Hill, NC.. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
