He is survived by: his wife Marybeth Cook Smith; his siblings, Michael Scott Smith (Phyllis) of Milton, Doug Smith (Patsy) of Hurricane and Becky Smith Kelley (Tom) of Anderson, SC; his nephews, Joshua Allen and Michael Scott Smith Jr.; and his niece Jodi Ray Whitson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hurricane (2635 Main St, Hurricane, WV 25526). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
