Lester Carlos Searls Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, at the age of 83, Lester Carlos Searls of Winfield, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Searls and Flossie Nelson Searls; and his siblings, Donnafine Ray, Patricia Gates, Janavive Trolio, Winsel, Delvin, Hollis of Mansel, O. J. and Ronnie Searls.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Lesa Sass (Dan) of Charlotte, NC, Donna Gray (Brian) of Winfield, WV and Tara Altadonna (Larry); his brother Steven Searls (Sherry) of Fraziers Bottom, WV; his grandchildren, Brett Rorabaugh, Brook Rorabaugh, Taylor Vories, Isabella Altadonna and Alessia Altadonna; his great grandchild Alani Vories; and his son David Searls. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (12848 Winfield Rd, Winfield, WV 25213). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
