She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thompson and Goldie Thompson; her husband Herbert Herl Lucas; and her daughter Cynthia Lucas Ross. She is survived by: her son Gregory L. Lucas; her daughter-in-law Susan of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her grandson Justin Michael Phalen (Chrissy) of South Charleston; her great grandchildren, Emma June, Connor and Shawn Phalen of South Charleston; her nephew Ray Shafer; and her niece Faye Shaffer of Elkview.
