With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Mae Hunter of Winfield, West Virginia, born in Follansbee, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris Mae left this world on November 1, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hill and Cleo Hill; her husband Bob Hunter; and her brothers, William (Yvonne), Robert (Janice) and John Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Ziccarelli (Augie), Rick Hunter (Aiwu), Ray Hunter (Christy), Ronda Wilkes (Dan) and Reva Capehart (Frank). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Winfield United Methodist Church (20 Radwin Dr, Winfield, WV 25213). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
