He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Browning and Mary Dalton Browning; his stepmother Millie Browning; his wife Opal Ferguson Browning; his grandparents, Willie, Georgia Browning, Ed and Tillie Dalton; his brothers, Dewey, Carlos, Willie, Edward, Hillard, Willard, Noah and Arthor Browning; his stepsiblings, William Bruce and Mary Bruce Browning; and his parents-in-law, James and Emily Ferguson.
He is survived by : his children, Marie Perry (Larry) of Wilsondale, Virgil Browning (Mary) of Wilsondale and Ricky Browning (Regina) of Breeden; his sister Georgia Browning McNeely of Ironton; his grandchildren, Amy Conley (Timmy), Jeffrey Browning (Kelli), Jonie Browning, Larry Edward Perry (Teressa), Michael Perry (Keshia), Jeremy Perry (Candice), Timothy Browning, Anthony Frealin Browning (Katlynn) and Patrick Browning (Selena); and his great grandchildren, Austin, Chelsea, Shane, Allie, Addalynn, Tatum, Cayson, Caylix Creed, Jayslie Lace, Alexis, Karlee, Bailey Opal, Tiffany, Blake, Jacklynn, Rylee, Jaxson, Olivia and Hadliegh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
