He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse J. Woodford and Alice B. Cooper Woodford; his wife Lorena Clark Woodford; his children, Luanne Martin and Robert L. Woodford II; his grandson Tyler Maxwell; and his brothers, Claude Elam, Boyd Worthy and Charles Cletis Woodford.
He is survived by: his children, John C. Woodford (Robin), Donald W. Woodford (Monoka), Ronald D. Woodford (Kathryn), Nadine Frashure (James) and Teresa Maxwell (Danny); and his son-in-law Jack Martin. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family is requesting memorial contributions be made in Robert's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or to Amedisys Hospice.
