He was predeceased by: his parents, Sinsel "Duke" Satterfield and Florence Margaret Satterfield (Eddy); his siblings, Connie Hurst and Rodney Satterfield; and his brothers-in-law, Craig Collins and Gil Hite.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Cottrill (Chad) of Walker, WV and Denzil Satterfield of Williamstown, WV; his grandchildren, Sean Partin, Trenton Tallman, Caden Tallman, Wyatt Cottrill (Mary Beth), Waylon Cottrill, MaLee Cottrill, Olivia Satterfield and Liam Satterfield; his great grandchild Caroline Tallman; his siblings, Ruth Collins, Betty Boley, Diana Freeland (Terry), Barbara Hite, Terry Satterfield (Wendy), Roger "Sheik" Satterfield and Dave Satterfield; and his brother-in-law Jim Hurst. He is also survived by brother in law.
