He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry John and Katherine Tofaute (McDermott); his stepmother Nancy Tofaute (DeMuth); his wife Priscilla Tofaute (Julian); his children, Todd Tofaute (Lynn) of Gilbert, AZ, Tracy Watson (George) of Hurricane, WV, Thad Tofaute (Lori) of Lowell, OH and Ted Tofaute of Williamstown, WV; his grandchildren, Abby, Jessie, Michael, Brie, Anna, Chas and Theda; and his siblings, John Tofaute (Kathie), Kay Hagen (Chuck), Peg DeMuth (Jim), Jim Tofaute (Dolores), Tom Tofaute (Olga), Bill Tofaute (Freddie), Chas Julian and Roddy Julian.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to St Michael Catholic Church, 213 55th St, Vienna, WV 26105.
