He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorr Daggett and Beatrice Vaught (Newberry). He is survived by: his spouse Fay Louise (Currey); his brother Darrell Vaught (Norma) of Lubeck; and his sister-in-law Jane Vaught of Ypsilanti, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
