It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita Ramona Zide of Williamstown, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Bango and Kathleen Hutchison Bango; her husband Robert Zide of Zide's Sports Shop; her daughter Vicki Zide; and her daughter-in-law Annette Zide.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Williamson (Jeff) of Williamstown, Rodney Zide (Jane) of Williamstown and John Zide (Teressa) of Williamstown; her siblings, John Bango (Mary) of Parkersburg and Joyce Geil (Jim) of Venice; her sister-in-law Gloria Absi of Columbus, OH.; and her grandchildren, Rob, Vicki, Ryan, Zach, Alexis, Sydney and Izabel. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of Vienna (3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV 26105). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church.
