Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Zada Hairston of Williamson, West Virginia, born in Belmont, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 102, on November 1, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James and Mary Grier Stowe; her former husband Deacon Elbert P. F. Hairston; her husband Elbert Percy Foster Hairston; her son Percy Hairston of Washington; her siblings, Clarence Stowe of Washington, Allen Cephas Stowe, Grier Willis Stowe and Sarah Stowe Davison; and her son-in-law Wayne Robinson Jones.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Patrick, Stacie, Susan, Henry, Jillian (Darren), Leah, John, Michael (Hailey), Sarah, Amy (Andrew), Nelson, Elbert A. (Caryn), Travis, Wayne, Braxton, Alivia, Percy (Danista-Novak) and Jocelyn; her stepgrandchildren, Rita Hill Bailey and Cory Hill; and her nieces and nephews, Willis Stowe, David Stowe, Jim Stowe, Durene Moore, Palmer Gilmore, Bradford Humphrey, III, Harold Holmes, Carol Stowe, Doris Moore, Betty Gilmore, Jean Humphrey, Iris Cooley, Ann Holmes, Martha Mitchell, Dorothy Hairston and Rita Hairston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.
COVID-19 Protocol will be adhered to, which includes social distancing and the wearing of masks at both services.
