He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Lee; his wife Mary Elizabeth Thacker; his brother Larry Joe Thacker; his half-brother Fred Spriggs; and his sister Patricia Ann Thacker.

He is survived by: his parent Ethel Baker Thacker; and his sister Regina Whitt of Minford.
