James Henry Collins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Henry Collins of Wilkinson, West Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry-Poppy Collins and Lyla Collins of Holden, WV.; his wife Kay Collins; his brothers, William R. Collins and Cowboy; his uncle Willie; and his sisters, Florence Mullins, Mary Johnson, Opal Perry, Susie Neece, Virginia Williams and Lahoma Crum.

He is survived by: his children, James Daniel "JD" Collins of Holden, Terry Dale Collins (Retha) of Holden, Stephen Robert Collins (Rose) of Whitman and Dena Spry (Bill) of Wilkinson; his brother John David Collins of Holden; his close friend Clara West of McConnell; his grandchildren, Vickie Lakatos (James) of Bridgeport, WV, James Daniel Collins II (Diane) of Holden, WV, Bethany Whitlock (Grey) of Virginia, Ben Collins (Heather) of Verdunville, WV, Tera Adkins (Hershel) of Holden, Jonathan Spry of Wilkinson, Cindy Collins of Holden, Joshua Collins (Candance Crum) of Whites Addition, Stephen Collins (Georgia), Robert James, Jeremy Ryan of Ohio, Kenya Perry (Phillip) of Winfield and Shawn Mullins (Katrina) of Wilkinson; and his great grandchildren, Corey Daniel, Alex Lakatos of Bridgeport, Katelynn Collins of Holden, Nadiya, Brennix Whitlock of Virginia, Alli Jaye, Titus James, Alexis Adkins of Holden, Dani Collins of Holden, Bubby, Davilyn Collins of Whites Addition, Audrey, Eli, Nia Collins of Chapmanville, Brayden, Natalie, Emma, Alijah, Aubree, Jaxon, Lincoln Collins, Bryce, Lilly, Payton, Ethan, Tyler Meeks of Ohio, Kaleigh, Mason, Fynn, Elena Mullins of Wilkinson, James "Jimbo" Collins, Ben Collins, Josh Collins, Corey Lakatos, Hershel Adkins and Jimmy Lakatos.
