He was predeceased by: his wife Goldie Bowen; his parents, Scott Bowen and Essie Bowen; and his siblings, Velma Kirk, Hubert Bowen, Chester Bowen, Renda Booth, Julius Bowen, Hazel Loraine Bowen and Harold Gene Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Tomblin of Wilkinson, Gary Bowen (Dana) of Wilkinson and Karen Oliver of Yuma; his grandchildren, Kenny Tomblin (Jamie) of Mitchell Heights, Kevin Tomblin (Cheryl) of Holden, Amy Holley (Michael) of Barboursville, Aaron Oliver (Angelina) of Williamson and Rhonda Adkins (Brian) of Nitro; his great grandchildren, Faith Oliver, Jenna Tomblin, Anna Holley, Kenlee Tomblin, Jake Holley and Brianna Adkins; and his siblings, Paul Bowen of Columbus, OH, Scott Bowen of Hode, KY, Joshua Bowen of Columbus, NC, Pauline Alley of Hode, KY and Beatrice Cordle of Columbus, OH.
