He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse O. Phillips and Fanny L. Phillips (Norris); his wife Lucy L. Phillips (Cecil); his son Dennis Phillips; his grandchildren, Leah Nicole Solis (Phillips) and William Alan "Will" Phillips; and his siblings, Philemon, Edmond, Wilbert, Robert Phillips, Imogene McCoy, Maxine Williams, Lorene Perkins, Madeline Miller and Loretta Phillips.
He is survived by: his son Terry Phillips (Cathy) of Wileyville; his granddaughters, Amanda Moellendick of Vienna, WV, Denise Caneen (Mac) of Hannibal, OH and Tera Phillips (Jeremiah) of New Martinsville, WV; his daughter-in-law Kathy Phillips of New Martinsville; his grandson-in-law Victor Solis of Texas; and his siblings, Florene Huggins of Knob Fork, WV, Charles Phillips of Wileyville and Joey Phillips of Parkersburg, WV.
