It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Andrew Wolfe Sr. of Wiley Ford, West Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wolfe and Elma Wolfe (Zimmerman); his grandson Andrew T. Wolfe; his brothers, Paul Wolfe (Eleanor) and Frank Wolfe; his former wife Mary; his sister Loretta Houdersheldt Lantz; his parents-in-law, Eston "Press" and Rosezella Presnell (Ralston); and his brothers-in-law, Edgar Kirk, Jerry Sears and Les Worthington.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Wolfe (Presnell); his children, Dr. Florence "Flo" Wolfe Sharp (Rod), Lawrence A. Wolfe, Jr., Sammi Anderson, Dr. Janet A. Wolfe-Medovic (Marty) and Kenneth E. Wolfe (Carol); his grandchildren, Erin Tribut, Ashley Wolfe Drake (Shane), Peyton Wolfe, Greg Mulrey, Zachary Medovic, Amanda Medovic, Noah Hilton, Paige Sharp, Cameron Appleyard, Colton Appleyard, Morgan Sharp and William Medovic; his siblings, Joseph R. Wolfe (Dorothy), Charles Wolfe (Ann), Fredrick "Fred" Wolfe (Saralee), Anna Kirk, Joan Sears and Rosalie Worthington; and his brothers-in-law, Eston Presnell (Mary) and Jonathan Presnell (Janet). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family has requested those who would like to honor Larry to make contributions to St. Anthony's Catholic Church or Catholic Charities of the Dioceses of West Virginia.
