George A. Corwell Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A. Corwell Sr. of Wiley Ford, West Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Corwell and Susan Corwell (Ross); his wife Dorothy Corwell; and his brothers, Ed Corwell and Don Corwell.
He is survived by: his children, George "Pete" Corwell, Jr. (Faith), Russell Corwell (Barbie) and Margie Schultz (Chris); and his sisters, Margie Hamilton, JoAnn Tipton and Coal. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
