With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Virginia Mitchell of Wilcoe, West Virginia, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Murray Goins and Alpha Hooker; her husband Louis T. Mitchell; her son-in-law Wayne Franklin; and her siblings, Roosevelt, Harvey, Roy, Coy, James, Louvina, Jenneta, Della, Hattie, Essie, Vinie, Carrie, Oney and Mary.

She is survived by : her children, Lewis Mitchell (Pat) of Wilcoe, WV and Shelva Franklin of Powhatan, VA; her grandchildren, Danny, David, Dennis Mitchell, Russell, Roger Franklin, Rhonda Sutphin and Debbie Giella; and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Mitchell of Wilcoe, WV and Edith Mitchell of Princeton, WV. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; hosts of nieces and nephews.

Family members will be serving as Pallbearers with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV. Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all persons attending and social distancing is to be practiced with attendance limited to twenty five persons.
