She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva "Red" Shawver and Hazel Rider Shawver; her husband Hobert Lewis; her children, Drema Kay Lewis and Gary Reese Lewis; and her brothers, Richard Shawver and William Shawver.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Lewis (Brenda Lewis) of Alderson, W. Va, Dinah Lewis King (Elvis "Buddy" King) of Dallas, Mark Lewis (Carolyn Lewis) of Forest Hill and Lisa Lewis Stacy (William "Bill" Stacy); her siblings, Keith Shawver of Morganton, N. C. and Nancy Shawver of Fairlea; her grandchildren, Jennifer King Welton, Sarah Stacy, Jennifer Stacy Taylor, Jason King, Adam Lewis and Luke Stacy; and her close friend Becky Navarro of Narrows. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
