With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mayor Lloyd Erskine Haynes of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mayor Lloyd Erskine Haynes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Haynes and Eva Haynes (Patterson); and his wife Garnett. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Haynes (Loren Pofahl) of Hollister, CA, Timothy Haynes (Debbie) of Cary, NC and Lottorian Haynes of Graham, NC; his grandchildren, Jason Stewart, Brent Stewart, Michael Haynes, Corey Edson and Kaitlyn Himebauch; and his close friend Mary Rush. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rhema Christian Center (3584 Davis Stuart Rd, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to First Baptist Church of White.
