It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Lee Carney (White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Brack Campbell and Mildred Campbell (Smith) of Rupert, WV.; her husband Charles O. L.; and her daughter Elizabeth Carney Curry. She is survived by: her sons, Charles B. Carney (Angel) of Roanoke, VA, Clinton Carney (Marielena) of San Diego, CA and Jon Carney (Angela) of Coos Bay, OR; her son-in-law Craig Curry of Parkersburg, WV.; her grandchildren, Cate Carney, Sarah Campbell Carney, Nick Curry, Cat Curry and Sean Curry; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Curry, Elliott Curry and Nora Elizabeth Curry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marilyn to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in White Sulphur Springs, or the Frankford Ruritan Club Scholarship Fund.
