He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Thomas and Myrtle Marie Meddins Campbell; his stepmother Willie Campbell; his siblings, Paul Campbell, Zella Wade and Mary Gallagher; and his son-in-law Paul Moya.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gray Clendenen Campbell; his children, Gerald Campbell Jr. (Kim) and Teresa Campbell Lowe (Kenny); his grandchildren, John Campbell, Zondra Campbell, McKenzie Moya (Cody), Joe Lowe (Alyssa) and James Lowe; his great grandchildren, Zevin Campbell, Lydia Gwinn and Magnolia O'Dell; and his siblings-in-law, Rosa Bennett (Wade), Hazel Pinnell and Carl Wade. He is also survived by sixteen step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
