He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross P. Holley and Rose Lee Kennedy Holley; his wife Mary Louise Shafer Holley; and his siblings, Betty Anderson, Dorothy Vaughn and Lawrence Junior Holley.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Ward (Milan) of Marshall, MO, Diane Nester (Steve), Lisa Armentrout (Cleveland) of Covington, VA and Doug Holley (Leah) of Chesterfield, VA; his grandchildren, Jill Leitch of Salem, VA, Justin Nester (Ellie) of Martinsburg, WV, Lindsay Taylor of Chesterfield, VA and Katie Holley of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, Nick Ferrell of Daleville, VA, Emma of Martinsburg, WV, Noah of Martinsburg, WV, Ava Nester of Martinsburg, WV and Jackson Taylor of Chesterfield, VA; and his sister Mary Bittinger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
