He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Grey and Beulah Mae Morgan Porterfield; and his brother Robert Porterfield. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Porterfield; his son Bernard Andrew Porterfield (Shannon) of Pittsburgh, PA.; his stepchildren, Cherie Ryder (Keith) and Donald Buckley, Jr. (Sandy); his grandsons, Grey, Devin and Wade Porterfield; his stepgrandson Brett Buckley; and his siblings, Carol Ann Sellards (Duane) of Beckley, Larry of Beckley and Mannix Porterfield of Beckley.

The family suggests that everyone follow Covid 19 regulations, masks and distancing while in the Chapel.
