It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Hackenberg (Wheeling, West Virginia), born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Hackenberg and Margaret Hackenberg (LaBrecque); and his brother Thomas Hackenberg. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hackenberg; his stepmother Caroline Hackenberg; his sons, Robert and Michael Hackenberg; his stepdaughter Kelli Doney; and his brothers, James and David Hackenberg (Melissa).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (154 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV 26003).
