She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond A. Smudski, and Aliah L. Smudski, Sr. (Tennant); her husband Herbert E. Smudski; her daughter Stacey L. McDaniel; and her brother Edmond A. Flanegin, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Eric L. Smudski and Deborah K. Pope. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
