Gloria Jean Durig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Jean Durig in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jafrate and Mary Jafrate (Conti); her husband Dr. James C. Durig Sr.; her niece Maria Smith; her nephew Jeff Smith; and her sister-in-law Mariann Durig.
She is survived by: her children, Heidi Durig Heiby (Fritz) and James C. Durig Jr.; her granddaughter Anna Heiby; her sister Jo Ann Smith; and her brother-in-law Bob Durig. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Care Funeral Home (204 W Main St, St Clairsville, OH 43950). A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (224 W Main St, St Clairsville, OH 43950).
