She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hicks and Cora V. Rogers Hicks; and her siblings, Glenna Bleigh and Roger Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Charles H. "Chuck" Ord, Jr.; her children, Cassandra "Cassie" M. Ord (Sean Mentnech) of Morgantown and Chad M. Ord (Ashley Ord) of Bruceton Mills, WV; her grandsons, Colton and Cooper Ord; and her siblings, Sandra L. Smith of Jane Lew, WV and Douglas D. Hicks, Sr. of Hookstown, PA..

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Source Program, 540 Fairmont Rd. Westover, WV, in support of a program that would be close to her heart: nourishing children and fostering their education.
