Smith of Westover, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gilbert Smith and Jessie Mae Vanible Smith; his brothers, Bobby Smith, Eddie Smith, Gwathney Smith and Marcus Smith; his foster brothers, Daryl Price, Jack Ott, Bobby Price, Kenny Williams and Bruce Phillips; and his sons, Carl Smith, Jr. and Mark Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Katrina Wells Smith; and his children, Demetria Summers (Ernie), Maya Bledsoe, Alicia Smith, Sharmille Smith, Shallon Johnson, Natasha Thomas, Eric Smith (Billie), Michael Cranford and Rodney Smith. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family friends.
