It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gum (Weston, West Virginia), who passed away on August 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Ross Gum and Sadie Ellen Gum (Chew); his wife Louise Grace Gum (Phipps); and his siblings, Charles E., James, John L. Gum, Bess Francis and Virginia Hitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty F. Foster (Thomas R.) of Weston, Joyce R. Miller of Camden and Dreama L. Hefner (Harley Allen) of Weston; his grandsons, Luke A. Heckert (Vanessa) and Jared Hefner; and his great grandchildren, Tori and Viktor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 4-7 p. m. and due to Covid 19 limitations on gatherings, private family services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 1:30 p. m. from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Dennis Estes and assisted by Pastor Mike Riffle officiating.
