He was predeceased by: his parents, Stokes Gaston and Dorotha R. Gaston (Ramsburg); his son William Nay Gaston; and his stepdaughter Dianne Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Gaston (Miller); his children, Melissa Kim Bond (Dennis) of Clarksburg and Thomas Joe Gaston (Paula) of Gilbert, S. C.; his stepson James Wyant of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Nichole Bender, Tiffany Hoskins, Brittany Jenkins, Savannah Jackson, Billy Gaston and Cody Gaston; his stepgrandchildren, Jimmy Wyant, Jamie Holbert, Jodie Wyant, Monica Rogers and Greg Hicks; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Grant, Gabrielle, Gatlin, Regan, Abram, Macy and Kingston; his stepgrandchildren, Lincoln, Lucas, Levi, Solomon, Naomi, Samantha, Allison and Natalie; his great great grandchildren, Izzy, Knox, Ellie and Camden; and his brother James R. Gaston of Jane Lew.
