It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Slaughter of Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Rudolf Osborne and Doris Marie Moore Osborne; her husband Richard Earl Slaughter; her siblings, Betty Myers and Robert "Jesse" Osborne; and her sister-in-law Abby Slaughter.

She is survived by: her son Henry Slaughter of Weston; her brother Clifford Osborne of Dry Fork; her siblings-in-law, James Slaughter, Clarence Slaughter, Vick Slaughter (Evelyn), Robert Slaughter, Oretta Slaughter and Dale Slaughter; and her friend Shirley.
