It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Moody of Weston, West Virginia, born in Monterville, West Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland Beckwith and Beulah Vesta Smith Beckwith; her husband Robert Moody; her sister Linda McMasters; her grandson Jason Moody; and her friend Joan Newsome.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Moody of Weston, Sam Moody (Gerri) of Winfield and Sandy Moody of Philippi; her grandchildren, Zackary Moody (Kingsley), Logan Moody, Fallyn White (Isaiah), Nicole Beam (Daniel Arbogast) and Thomas Arbogast; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Davis, Emma Kate, Remington, Brylee, Natalie and Theo.
