She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arnold Dawson and Opal Icie Keener Dawson; her close friend Bill Hamon; her grandson Cory Chapman; and her siblings, Wade, Ralph, Dallas, Bernard, Helen, Ilene, Jack and Bobby Gene.
She is survived by: her children, Traci Chapman (Keith) of Weston, Jeff Hamon of Baltimore, MD and David "Troy" Hamon (Becky) of Weston; her grandchildren, Lindsay, David and Kenda; her great grandchildren, Zoey and Keturah; and her sister Margaret Barker.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service (144 Hackers Creek Rd, Jane Lew, WV 26378).
