He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Sholes and Dollie Sholes (Harper); his son Ronald Denver Sholes, Jr.; and his siblings, Wilfred, Frank Sholes, Charlotte Sholes, Alfreda Klicker and Willa Means.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalee E. Sholes (Lofton); his daughter Karen Foster of Camden; his granddaughter Samantha Hefner (Kevin Hefner, Jr.); his great grandchild Maddyson Hefner; his sister-in-law Mary Agnes Sholes of Jackson Mill; and his nephew Mike Sholes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Walnut Church Cemetery 886 Jackson Mill Road Jane Lew, WV 26378.
