She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Everit Burkhammer and Jenny Ryan Burkhammer; her sisters, Denna "Dee" Ware Bayless and Betty Ware McWhorter; and her nephew Mark Allen McWhorter.

She is survived by: her son Jason Burkhammer (Elizabeth); her brother Elden Burkhammer; and her cousins, Larry and Lorn Burkhammer.
