She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Smallridge and Gretchen Smallridge; and her sister Susan Karnes. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Franklin (Troy) of Venice, FL, Andrea Chase-Merrill (Shaun) of Grandville, MI and Matthew Carmack of Sarasota, FL; her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Cole, Emma Chase, Christopher Chase, Logan Chase, Ariel Merrill, Madelynn Franklin and Ella Franklin; her great grandchildren, Camden, Mason and Liam Cole; and her brother Bill Smallridge (Sarah). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
