She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Amos Barrett and Georgia Lewis Barrett; her husband John T. Hiteshew; and her siblings, Margaret Barrett, Helen Barrett, Tom Barrett (Mary), Charles Barrett (Madeline), Jane White (Burl) and Virginia B. "Fif" Davisson (John).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Hiteshew Holland of Pittsburgh, PA, Mary "Lynn" Posey (Leonard) of Weston and Rebecca Hiteshew of Weston; her grandchildren, Dr. Amanda Sample, MD (Tim) of Pittsburgh, PA, Thomas Holland, Jr. (Stephanie Mach) of Cincinnati, OH, Meghan Holland of Middletown, OH, Matthew Holland of Cincinnati, OH, Will Holland (Sydney Frazier) of Denver, CO, Jason Posey (Amanda) of Morgantown, Anna Noon (Ryan) of Morgantown and Georgia Warder of Pittsburgh, PA; and her great grandchildren, Noah Sample, Michael Sample, Grayson Sample, Reagan Noon and Rachel Noon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (132 E 2nd St, Weston, WV 26452). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons Bible organization.
