He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Ann Deaton; his sisters, Barbara Ann Jennings and Juanita Kay Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Eddie Dean Thomas and Billy Pratt.
He is survived by: his father Norman Junior Ables of Weston; his wife Becky Smith Ables of Weston; his children, Harley Destiny Marie Foster of Weston and Sarah-Jean Irene Collins of Weston; and his siblings, Dorothy Ables (Raymond) of Weston, Howard Friend of Weston, Reba Thomas (Steve) of Weston, Ricky Friend (Chris) of Weston, Betty Thomas of Weston, Kevin Michael Friend of Weston and Carolyn Pratt of Weston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service (144 Hackers Creek Rd, Jane Lew, WV 26378). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
