It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Burkhammer (Weston, West Virginia), who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd "Red" Burkhammer and Ruth Burkhammer (Turner). He is survived by: his wife Annabelle "Ann" Burkhammer (Ratliff); his children, Jill L. Shaffer (Mark) of Parkersburg and Jerry L. Burkhammer, II of Glenville; his grandsons, Andrew Cory Shaffer (Kate), Zachary Adam Burkhammer, Adam Keith Shaffer and Ethan Ward Burkhammer; his great grandchildren, Adaline Lacy Shaffer, Shyann Elizabeth Burkhammer and Henry Mark Gerald Shaffer; his sister Judith F. Meffert (Roland); his nephews, R. W. Meffert (Mary Elizabeth) and Ryan Wesley Meffert; his niece Renee W. Hardcastle (Mark); and also, Chris, Cheryl and Carla Turner. He is also survived by children, and several others nieces and nephews.
Due to the risks associated with COVID-19, a private viewing and service will be held for the family and officiated by Pastor Bryan Groves at Hardman Family Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 a. m.
