He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Hitt and Virginia Viola Hitt (Sines); his siblings, Thomas L. Hitt, Patty A. Huffman and Shirley M. Badaggett; and his pet Cigone Frymier.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Hitt (Posey); his daughters, Nicole M. Stasny (Bob) of Ashtabula, OH and Kelly L. Hitt of Weston; his grandchildren, Christopher A. Stasny, Melissa D. Stasny and Stormee B. Frymier; and his brother John W. Hitt of Weston.
