It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lee Gump Jr. of Weston, West Virginia, born in Mannington, West Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Gertrude Price; his brothers, Marvin Gump and Charles Gump; and his half-sister Ann Murphy. He is survived by: his sons, David (Debbie Gump) of Weston and Thomas Gump (Susan Sellars) of Morgantown; his brother Walter Gump of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Ashlie Mecure (Andrew), Kellie Gump, Tyler Gump, Dylan Gump and Delaney Gump; his great grandchildren, Nova Vangilder, Lainey Mecure and Everleigh Ruiz; and his close friend Betty NeSmith.
