He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale, Jr. Heater and Edith Mae Heater (Gould); and his siblings, Donnie, Craig Heater and Cathy Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Heater (McKisic Langford); his children, Robert Heater of Jane Lew, Daniel Langford (Melissa) of St. Thomas, PA and Sara Simmons (Elijah) of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, Hope Vasquez, Faith Vasquez, Grace Langford, Benjamin Langford, Paige Simmons, Elias Simmons, Callie Simmons, Quinton Simmons, Heston Simmons and Augustus Simmons; his sister Teresa Kincaid of Jane Lew; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Heater of Jane Lew and Joe Montgomery of Pennsboro; and his uncles, Larry and Carl Lee Heater. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hardman Family Funeral Home, P. O. Box 1287, Weston, WV 26452 to help aid with funeral expenses.
