He is survived by: his children, Earlin R. Lowther (Jessica) of Weston and Rose Hayhurst (David) of Buckhannon; his grandchildren, Thomas Matthew Sims IV, Charity Rose Sims, Victoria Paige Sims, Brenden Quinn Sims, Elizabeth Gregory, Rueben Lowther, Byron Lowther, Darius Lowther and Grayson Lowther; his great grandchild Renesmee Riddle; his brother Charles Lowther of Weston; and his former wife Shirley Lowther Taylor.
