He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Wellington Pickens, Sr. and Dale Rohrbough Pickens of Weston; his son Donald Robert Pickens, Jr.; and his siblings, Ruth Madyline Pickens Kidd, James Gilbert Pickens, George Lawrence Pickens, Juanita Pickens of Virginia, Adam Wellington "Junior" Pickens, Patricia Joann Pickens, David Lee Pickens, Richard Keith Pickens and Rita June Pickens Weaver.
He is survived by: his son-in-law John; his wife Opal Delores Randolph Pickens; his children, Rebecca June Pickens Clise (John) of Weston and Mark Anthony Pickens (Donna) of Brunswick, Ohio; his nephew Robert Eugene Weaver of Weston; and his pets, Buddy and Manx. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
