It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Darlene Metz of Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Metz; her parents, Glen McCutcheon and Agnes Lorain Goldsmith McCutcheon; her siblings, Judith McCutcheon, Mary McCutcheon, Barbara Wilt, George McCutcheon, John Junior Strader, Jim McCutcheon and Thomas Goldsmith; her niece Casie Roupe; and her nephew Chuckie Roupe.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Cathie Metz), Deborah (Jim Posey), Greg (Addie Metz) and Kala Lawrence (Curtis Carson); her grandchildren, William, Cassandra Adkins, Dakota, Danielle Adkins, Courtney, Marcus Morris, Logan Posey, Chiara Posey, Jaxon Hatfield and Echo Carson; her great grandchildren, Dakota "Bubby" Adkins, Adalynn "Addy" Adkins, Carter Lynn Adkins, Gauge, Hunter, Creed Morris and Oliver Posey; and her sisters, Joetta Clem, Linda Cantu and Connie Perry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
